Almost 2 km long, the walls of the Old City of Dubrovnik feature numerous medieval and early-modern towers, fortresses, bastions and gates. The tour of the walls will give you a deep insight into Dubrovnik’s history as well as breath-taking views of the Old City and its surrounding from a completely unique perspective. In addition to the details of the construction of the Dubrovnik and its magnificent ramparts, you will learn more about the city’s political history. Special emphasis is placed on the wars and sieges in the course of Dubrovnik’s turbulent history, including the siege in the 1990’s – The War of Croatian Independence.
